In the UK we take free primary school education for granted. In Cambodia it is very different. In a country still suffering the legacy of a decade of war and genocide most families are too poor to afford even the most elementary education for their children.

By supporting students and teachers in the UK and overseas, as they prepare for exams, examstutor also aims to support the funding of free education programs for children, who without such support might not be able to attend school at all. All funding generated by examstutor goes directly to help support the construction and maintenance of school buildings, and sponsor both pupils and teachers.

Schools for Children of Cambodia

With more than a third of the country's population living in extreme poverty the children of Cambodia are denied those opportunities we've come to expect in the UK.

The Registered Charity Schools for Children of Cambodia was founded in 2003 to fund free education programs for children aged 4 - 12 years. Their aim is to enable children from poorer districts to attend school and gain a basic education.

Schools for Children of Cambodia currently support five schools, in Siem Reap and surrounding provinces, and currently help 2000 children attend school. They also assist the more able children to attend the fee paying Government Secondary Schools.
